Healing the Earth, Healing Ourselves:

A Sacred Circle Dance Gathering

Please join us as we gather to honor the living Earth and the heightened call to heal her. Through Sacred Circle Dance, an ancient form of movement meditation, we will dance to cultivate within ourselves the energies of joy, abundance, gratitude, compassion and deep peace, and offer them to Mother Earth and all living beings. Moving as one, we will invoke the Divine Feminine energies needed to bring our world back into balance. Born from the Earth, these wonderful dances evoke a powerful sense of community and interconnection with each other and all life.

Taught by Lisa Bardack, the circle dances are moderately easy and the dance sequences repetitive.

Come dance for the healing of this wondrous, generous, beautiful, sacred living planet

we call home!

Honoring the Autumn:

A Sacred Circle Dance Gathering

In this seasonal ritual, woven together with poetry and wisdom, we will dance to celebrate the abundance and beauty of autumn; ground ourselves in this busy time; let go of that which no longer serves so the new can be reborn; and nurture ourselves in this season of doing. Rooting into the ground as we rise up, we will dance to cultivate the mindfulness needed to move through fall with clarity, peace and joy.

Taught by Lisa Bardack, the dances are moderately easy and the dance sequences repetitive. This circle is open to women and men.

If you love to dance, come and enjoy the gifts of this beautiful form of movement meditation!

Deep Winter, Whispers of Spring:

A Sacred Circle Dance Gathering

"Winter teaches us that the only way to fully enjoy the powers of the season is to surrender to it and learn from what it has to offer us. In winter the earth lies fallow; nature appears frozen and dead. In this deep stillness of nature, winter calls us to look into our depths, to reconnect to our inner being, to befriend the darkness within us and around us. In winter—like the seeds that are beginning their metamorphosis and starting to manifest their destiny in the deep recesses of the earth—all of our energies are being called to examine the depths of our being.”

~ Jason Elias, Five Element Healing

In this workshop, we will dance to honor the gifts of winter, the season of rest and renewal, a time to go within and listen gently and deeply to the questions and desires we hold for our lives; to listen to our inner guidance that will shape our visions and actions for spring. We will cultivate the energies of joy, creativity and inspiration to water the seeds for spring that are growing quietly from within.

The dances are simple and the dance sequences repetitive, so the dances dance us! If you love to dance, come and enjoy this wonderful form of movement meditation!

Honoring the Spring

A Sacred Circle Dance Gathering

We are a sacred part of spring, witnesses to her unfolding beauty and to our own unfolding. Women have danced to honor spring since human time began, and when we dance we join the circle of grandmothers who initiated these dances and passed them on to future generations. We will move through dances that celebrate spring's gifts -- dances that honor beauty, abundance, connection, inspiration and joy; dances that ground us into the Earth in this busy time of year.

We will dance. as well, to honor the transition from winter to spring, the dance between stillness, restlessness and action. Rooting into the ground as we rise up, dancing ancient energy patterns to wonderful music from Eastern Europe, the Balkans and more, we will dance to cultivate the mindfulness needed to move forward into spring with clarity, creativity, peace and joy.

No dance experience is required, as the dances are simple to moderately easy, and the step sequences repetitive. You can dance in bare feet, no slip socks or soft soled shoes like ballet slippers (no shoes are permitted). Please bring water for hydration!
